- The primaryrole of the air/oil separator is to separate the air from the oil using coalescing action. The oil is literally trapped by the separator while allowing air to pass through. The oil is then drained and removed by the pickup tube and return lines.
- A separator’s life will vary significantly, depending on usage and environmental conditions.
